The Pantry
The Kimberley Estate Pantry is a community-led initiative providing essential groceries and frozen meals to residents who may be unwell, going through a difficult time, or simply unable to cook. Discreetly located in the community room, the pantry quietly ensures that no one in Kimberley Estate is left without support — neighbours looking out for neighbours.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our residents, the pantry has grown to also support local women’s shelters and homeless outreach groups — extending our care beyond our community.
Every three months, we come together for the much-loved Drag Trivia Night, where all profits go directly to funding and restocking the pantry. It’s a night of fun, laughter, and connection that makes a real difference to people’s lives.
The Kimberley Estate Pantry is a true reflection of what our community stands for — compassion, generosity, and supporting each other when it’s needed most.
Morning Tea Club
The Morning Tea Club is a welcoming space created especially for our elderly residents and those who may be feeling a little isolated. It’s a simple but meaningful way to stay connected, stay active, and share a lovely morning together.
Held every Wednesday at 9:30 AM in the community room, the morning begins with a gentle 30-minute exercise class tailored to all fitness levels. This is followed by a relaxing morning tea, lovingly provided and completely free of charge for all who attend.
We encourage all residents to get involved — whether by joining in, volunteering, donating morning tea supplies, or simply helping to spread the word. It’s a beautiful reminder that a bit of movement and a good conversation can go a long way.
Earn & Return Bins
Kimberley Estate has launched Purple Earn & Return Bins to help raise funds for our Food Pantry, Morning Tea Club, and other community events — all while reducing waste.
By recycling eligible drink containers in the clearly marked purple bins located in garbage rooms around the estate, you’ll be making a direct and positive impact.
What can go in the bins:
- Plastic drink bottles (with labels)
- Aluminium cans
- Glass drink bottles
- Juice poppers and small cartons
What can't go in the bins:
- Wine and spirit bottles
- Milk containers
- Large juice bottles
- Coffee cups and food containers
